Got the word yesterday that Wild Apple Jack will be receiving an Invitation to the Grand National Grouse and Woodcock Invitational in April. This will be his fourth invitation in five years. He was invited last year and wasn't able to go due to a cactus related injury that he got last winter in Texas. I'm planning to accept and will be heading to Marienville. I'll most likely take Wild Apple LJ along and run him in the puppy classic. Will most likely run down to Rhode Island in March for the Southern New England Woodcock Championship as well.
Getting the dog ready here in the frozen north is going to be a challenge. We'll be doing some skijorring. I'll try to get a picture and post it here.
Trip started to come into heat in December then went out -- she came back in and looks like she should be ready to stand this week.
