Dogs for Sale

last year about this time I took a quick trip to Kentucky to pick up some puppies from a litter by Autumn Moon out of Creek's Elhew Lucy.  This was a repeat breeding that had produced the dog Autumn Snow in the first litter.  Snow is a nice young male that Scott Chaffee has for Jack Harang.  In fact, Scott has bred Indian Creek Triple Rail to Snow and those pups are 7 weeks old today.  From the Kentucky litter, I brought three puppies North last spring.  Two came here to the kennel and one went to Pat Perkins in Massachusetts.  I kept one that I call Wild Apple Moon Glow and she placed in here first field trial last spring -- the Cronk Farm Puppy Classic.  The other one I brought home and started her for Ed Nicholson from Maryland.  He calls her Ruby and she is going to be a heck of a wild bird dog.  Pat calls his Juno and he's decided, for reasons I'll let him explain, to sell her.  If you're looking for a started dog you can reach Pat at Cell: 978-833-3002 e-mail:
pperkins@nrsd.net.

If someone wanted Juno but didn't have time to work her this summer, I have an open slot in my Summer Wild Bird Program.

Juno
If you think you'd be more interested in a puppy from this year, I'll have at least one and possibly two started puppies that will be available at the end of the Summer Program.  I still have Wild Apple Annie and she will most likely be for sale this fall.  She is a finished dog that is broke to wing and shot, backs, and has a moderate to medium range.  She is a full sister to Wild Apple Jack and Autumn Moon from the last breeding of Wynot Ace X Elhew Liebotschaner.  You can contact me about our puppies and/or Annie at 603-381-8763 or email me at wildapplekennel@gmail.com

If you're more interested in Shags, Tony Bly called this morning with word that Stokely's Ab B (a littermate to Stokely's Frankie B) had a litter of 10 yesterday, (7 males, 3 females) The sire of the litter is Dave Hawke's son of Shadow Oak Bo -- Will.  Both Abby and Will have been trained and hunted on wild birds here in NH.  There should be some really good grouse and woodcock dogs in this breeding.  You can contact Tony at 603-449-2413 (he'll be home Tuesday from a spring trip to Gladwin to run in the wild bird trials at Gladwin.
